Tropical Barbican Conservatory Wedding with Incredibly Cool Bride Style in London
I’m not even sure words will ever be able to do this incredible wedding justice – that’s what the photos are for, right?! – but I’m going to try. Beryl-Lara and Cris held the most epic, exuberant and emotional of weddings this August and I was lucky enough to be able to capture them there in all of their magic. As a fan of brutalist architecture, a Barbican Conservatory wedding has always been top of my list, but these ladies would have been my dream couple wherever they’d married!
Beryl-Lara and Cris both got ready in an Airbnb on the Golden Lane estate, where Anna Inglis Hall did their makeup. Cris’ wedding outfit was a stunning tailored red suit, whilst Beryl-Lara wore an amazing sheer, embellished Sadie Williams dress with a Piers Atkinson pillbox hat and veil (As a fashion agent, it’s no wonder that she killed the cool bride vibes!).
Surrounded by the breathtaking and luscious greenery that we’ve all come to know and love the Barbican Conservatory for, plus some additional jewel-toned florals from The London Flower House, Beryl-Lara and Cris exchanged vows in a tropical and touching ceremony.
Heady emotions continued into their reception, where Beryl-Lara used her speech to pay homage to all of the LGBT community who’d suffered so that they could have the right to get married – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
